Last month, the American Transportation Research Institute (ATRI) released "A Practical Analysis of a National VMT Tax System" which breaks down the benefits and the costs of instituting a national vehicles-miles-traveled fee system that would levy a per-mile charge on drivers. Is this a viable solution to infrastructure funding needs? The Senior Vice President  of ATRI, Dan Murray, joins TT's Dan Ronan to discuss the findings of the report and what shape infrastructure funding may take in the future.
